We had a very good attendance on Saturday morning at 10.00am for the club’s AGM.
During the previous couple of weeks Members had received prepared documents covering President Hazel’s report, Finance details, Notices of Motion, etc.
In her report, Hazel reminded us all of the many successful events over her time in office and the Club congratulated her on her efforts.
Trevor Turnbull was the only member standing for the President’s Office and was duly elected.

Except for the very necessary position of Secretary, all other Committee positions were filled.
The new committee is meeting next Monday afternoon when hopefully they will be able to appoint a Secretary.
Prior to the closing of the meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing that Neville
Turnbull had been nominated as a Life Member; this was supported by the club members.
Neville has done outstanding service in so many different areas of the club and Life Membership is our acknowledgement of this.
The meeting closed about noon, followed by a lovely lunch served by the many helpers, and then it was out to Green 1 for an afternoon roll-up.
It was fine and pretty cool but still, out the bowlers went, a chance for them to once again show their skills and enjoy each others company.
