Once again Brian showed us his skills on the green today, playing and winning his second gala since his retirement.
We all know what sort of player he has been; a bit like all of us, good some days, perhaps not so consistent on others. Are results from now on going to be just the best!!
Today, a full green of 16 teams played in a 2x4x2 Pairs Gala in lovely cool weather and by the end of play, only one team had managed to win all their games. Fred and Brian.
Four games of 8 ends were played and at the end of the day’s play, two other teams had come close to winning all their games as well, just missing out because of a draw.
So it looks as though we will all be keeping our eye on Brian just to see if he is going to carry on in such top style. The pressure will really be on him in the coming matches.
