Another Wednesday Gala but because of the conditions, changes were necessary because of the weather.
Instead of the usual 8 end games, it was decided to play the four games, each with 6 ends only. The start was made at the usual 11.00am and after the first 2 games were completed, a stop was made for the lunch break.
The weather didn’t improving so it was decided to call the afternoon games off; the ‘winners’ were announced and it was off home for a relaxed afternoon.
