Another popular Gala was held today at the club with twelve teams taking part from 11.00am
We kept dry most of the time though the sky was often threatening us with large areas of cloud.
Looking north across the cotula green and the Horowhenua College, one can see the towering clouds.
The Gala’s usual procedure, three games of eight ends and then the day’s winning teams were announced as follows:
1st Hazel Rose(s), Liz and Les Galloway – 3 wins, 15 ends, 40 points.
2nd Ian Wenham(s), Omeka Feaunati, Diane McGill – 3 wins, 15 ends, 27 points.
3rd Jimmy Adams(s), Peter Brown, Jenny Watt – 2 wins, 18 ends, 20 points
