I came town to see some of the play this afternoon and the sun was still out but the cold ‘breeze’ was certainly present.
There was another good turnout for the 3 games gala which started at 11.00am, and as Margaret says, ” You could still hear laughter to know that everyone was enjoying themselves.”
So to the winners:
1st Rex & Alice Spicer & Arnie Jansson – 3 wins, 16 ends, 28 points.
2nd Brian Cooper, Joe Wnek, Roy Dickson – 3 wins, 15 ends, 42 points.
(Plenty of points won but the extra only ends would have taken out first place.)
3rd Brian Coe, Murray Griffin, Barbara Selley – 2 1/2 wins 17 ends 31 points.
(And in this Brian’s case, the draw was not quite helpful enough!)
