The second weekend of the National Interclub competition saw our Women’s teams complete a days play on Saturday but the Men’s competition was rained out part way through play on Sunday. Results for our club were as follows:
Women (Saturday)
Super 7’s : Won 2 of their 6 games – 1 singles and 1 fours
Reserve 7’s: Won 2 out of their 6 games – 1 singles and one pairs
Men (Sunday)
Super 7’s: Won 2 of their 3 completed games – 1 singles and 1 fours
Reserve 7’s: Won 4 and drew 1 of their 6 completed games
Div III: Won all 3 of their completed games
Open Triples: Won 2 and drew 1 of their 4 completed games
With some games being rained out in all grades those games in progress when play was called will probably be continued on the third day of play on 10 and 11 January.
