Presentation Day marked the end of a vintage season for Levin Bowls. There have been successful seasons before but I doubt if the club has had one to match 2015 -16. Bowls N Z “Club of the Year;” two teams to the National Interclub finals; two other teams representing the Centre at national events; a number of Centre representatives; fastest growing membership in the Centre; a growing number of able and enthusiastic junior bowlers; record numbers at roll ups and so on. To quote the words of our President “Success breeds success.”
After the rains of May let’s all look forward to some relaxing days of winter bowls.
