I managed to watch some of the 5’s being played on our cotula green this afternoon. It was sunny but quite a strong wind developed during the play.
Our club played their four games against Central which resulted in 2 win and 2 losses. It was quite strange how the games went as it could have ended with our teams winning all their games – if only they didn’t have to play the last end.
Dianne Short won her Singles and Rex skipped the winning Triples team but even though our Fours and Pairs all entered the last end of their games in front, their opponents managed to get the winning points when it counted.
Still, a good day for all players
