Entering the last end of the game against Brian Howman, Dianne and Omeka held the lead, 12-11.
Omeka sent up the Jack and then delivered his first bowl……and it stopped right in front of the Jack. A great opening shot.
Not to be out done, Brian’s lead sent up her first bowl….and it gave Omeka’s shot a push away. Outstanding reply.
And from then on, nothing worked for our Levin pair, and the game ended in a win to the Paraparaumu team.
The game had shown all the players bowling well, just a pity from our point of view, that the final end just didn’t go our team’s way.
Also of note today was seeing another of our club members in action. He had turned up to have a roll up later in the afternoon and showed that he still has the ability to get his bowls close to the Jack in spite of his legs not always being co-operative.
