Our women’s Triples Champion Team did so well in this years Champion of Champion event and went so close to taking the title. The last end of the match saw them go down by just one point, 14-15. Really proud of our team for playing so well throughout the competition – Audrey Sciascia (s), Margaret MacKay and Bronwyn McMahon.
Also doing well in the Men’s Champion of Champion Triples at Raumati South, was Central Levin’s team, R Stewart, B Woolston, and Gary Wylie, who likewise had a close final, going down to Waikanae by 18-20.
Players from both local clubs have done well and are to be congratulated.
