Once again, play got started in another of the Winter Galas, 12 teams starting on the Astro green at 11.00am, and all well prepared for the day’s conditions.
Earlier rain had passed but the temperature was such that made most players well wrapped up to face the cold wind blowing from the west.
By the time the third game was played, most players were warm enough to bowl without thick clothing needed.
