It was with sadness that I received news this morning of the passing of our club member DennisJoining us in 1999, Dennis was a regular player on the green, noted for his enthusiasm of the game and his play, especially as a lead, using a set of small bowls. As well as playing the game, Dennis was a person who helped the club in many ways. Business House bowls was a special time when he did so much work in the kitchen and he will be well remembered for his work every Friday afternoon as the Housie caller. Though not in the best of health over recent times, he would regularly call in to the club, still with his smile and chirpy comments.For us who have known Dennis for so long, we will really miss him.Our condolences go to Margaret and the family.
