Some really outstanding performances from the bowlers in the last two rounds played today.
The morning game between Hildi and Margaret was close all the way through and with the score at 20 all, the win was decided on the last bowl. Margaret was holding the shot and Hildi had one bowl left. Up it came and it looked good but dropped just a little short so the win went to Margaret.
The other match was also close at the end. Hazel took a while to get her weight sorted out, but from 11-4 down to 11-10, the game continued from their to the 20th end with Dianne one point behind Hazel, 18-19. But with what proved to be the last end, Dianne drew three shots for the win.
The final between Dianne and Margaret started with close scoring, but Dianne got into her best draw play and went on to win the final, 21-9
Congratulation go to all today’s players for putting on very good bowling for all the spectators who came to watch.
