Joe Wnek delivering his bowl while on the neighbouring rink, close attention is being given to the result of the last bowl delivered. It just had to happen and this afternoon it did, the sun was out and it was really hot..yes HOT, not just warm. In the photo you can just seen the Tararua Range with not a cloud in …
Club Captains and Aggregate Triples
It was supposed to be a lovely Spring afternoon for bowls but it was mainly cloudy with a cool breeze which meant that most players were wearing jerseys or jackets. A good turnout of players taking part in this weekly competition. Click to enlarge

Yesterday, Margaret once again sponsored her Hammond Memorial Gala in memory of her parents, Selby and Jean Hammond who both were Patrons of the Club at the time of their passing. Winner Found
I watched the semifinal between our club player, Trevor Tuatara, and Phil Edwards this morning at the Waitarere Beach Club and saw some great bowling. Trevor showed great control of his weight and line and though Phil was generally playing well, things just went great for Trevor, winning the match 21-10. The other game was between Swift and Moran and …
